I AM GIRL SPACE is an initiative of Hamiza Development Foundation (HDF) created to support girls to live safe, healthy, confident and empowered lives. It provides a supportive space where girls can share their stories, express themselves, access information and mentorship, build life skills and discover their potential.

The initiative addresses challenges that affect girls' education, safety, health and future opportunities, including poverty, gender inequality, violence, early marriage, teenage pregnancy and limited access to information and support.

I AM GIRL SPACE works with girls, families, schools, teachers and communities to create environments where girls are protected, respected and encouraged to succeed. The initiative promotes education, mentorship, life skills, menstrual health and dignity, child protection and positive family and community support.

Through safe spaces and meaningful participation, girls are encouraged to speak, make informed decisions, set goals and take an active role in shaping their futures.

Our vision is a future where every girl is safe, confident, valued and empowered to remain in school, make informed choices and fulfill her potential.
