Foundation Born from Crisis
Hamiza Development Foundation was born out of the need to address the negative impact that the Covid-19 pandemic had on vulnerable groups in Uganda.
The Vision

"Hamiza" means being firm, persistent, grounded, consistent, and giving facts and hope. This reflects our commitment to empowering vulnerable communities.
Expansion
Addressing Inequalities
We expanded our scope to address challenges faced by women, girls, boys, men, youth, PWDs, refugees, and smallholder farmers across various districts.
Today
Restoring Hope
We continue to restore hope by giving vulnerable groups confidence, knowledge, and skills to take charge of their lives and contribute meaningfully to Uganda's development.
