CELEBRATING WORLD REFUGEE DAY
HDF joined hands with other partners in Kyaka II refugee settlement as a sign of unity and support to commemorate World Refugee Day with a theme “solidarity with the refugees.”
The event held in Itambabiniga primary school, was an evidence of our commitment to empowering refugees and promoting their rights and dignity.
Through this commemoration, the assistant commandant of Kyaka II settlement acknowledged the outstanding contribution of HDF in supporting both protection and livelihoods sectors in the settlement and the host communities. The organization reaffirmed its dedication to supporting refugees in their quest for dignity livelihoods, and protection of their rights through advocacy.
